I thought this storyline was way better than the old ones, but then again, they actually put a little bit of work into this one.

My only problems were: There was a lack of innovation on the mini games. Sure, lifting weights and dressing your character up are cool at first, but they should have put more stuff into Las Venturas (especially), and other places. That, and the existing mini games are boring, like Jean said.

And for some odd reason, I still find it very entertaining to shoot the shit out of random people. For that reason, I will always love GTA.

Barring a condition like Ice? No, not personally. But I live in the "foothills" to the Appalachian mountains, and I've known several people that have had cars that couldn't climb specific hills. I knew a guy back in high school that had a Maverick he had to park at the bottom of the hill I lived on and walk up it, because it couldn't make it to the top.

Actually, yea, in the REAL San Fierro (which is only 90 min from my house) there are all sorts of hills that are super hard on small engine cars. Maybe not so hard that they are unnegotiable, but your engine whines and struggles to make it up hills. I have a few photos, but they really don't give a good example of how steep it really is there.

You may recongnize the first pic as the "crookedest street in the world" from San Fierro, and the second one is a steep hill, but it's really not one of the steeper ones, this one is pretty average compared to some of the more extreme ones.

Reviving old threads is bad, but only when you really have nothing new or worthwhile to contribute. But judging by the response to it, I think it's ok for him to have done it.

Yes I would accept that, but the computer cars go up them like it was a fuckin walk in the park.

I have an athlon XP 2400+, gig and a half of ram and a geforece 4 ti 4200 (agp 8x and 64 ram).

It runs smoothly at 800x600 with low-ish settings and a short drawing distance. Playble but it would be kickass to have a bigger draw distance.

Full graphics brings my computer down on it's knees, FPS being something like 0.5 at best.

Get an AMD 64 3400+ Processor and a decent ASUS Socket A motherboard with a decent RAM capacity. Like a 4 slot DDR800 supporting one.

best gta so far. too bad my comp totally sucks and i have to play at lowest settings on everything. after a small week of hardcore playing, i need to finnish last mission... comp sucks so much... it can't pull of showing fire and a lot shooting people without the framerate crashing.. going to finnish firefighter mission now and try to run through the fire and find the exit before comp gives up. hah
