Puyallup School District officials announced last week that Halloween festivities would be canceled in order to stop losing instructional time and to avoid offending believers in the Wiccan religion, sometimes known as witches.

What kind of cock-gobbling mess is this. I'm so fucking glad I'm not a kid in this day and age.Halloween kicked ass when I was little, my fav. was when I was darth vader(still have the mask).

yeah a friend of mine is dressin up as hitler too, and one of my roomates as Jesus. it's gonna be weird seein' Jesus and Hitler hangin out but worth a good laugh.

and about the news article, some people (americans mostly) go way too far with bullshit... like not offending witches. only american witches would be offended by halloween. somewhat like the way american religious groups were offended by their kids reading harry potter a few years ago. i think you guys (americans) just make up bullshit to get all upset over just so you have something to do.

I was dressed as Emporor Palpatine from Return of the Jedi a couple years ago. Had the rubbery mask, the dark cloak and the evil laugh ready to go. This kid walks up to the door in an M&M suit, he couldn't have been more than four. Result:

There's lots of wiccans at my school and they dress up for Halloween. Doesn't bother them at all or anything. Today was costume day and we all wore costumes to school, some of them were really great. One person had an inflatible costume, and it was a sumo wrestler. It was great.
