Nov. 2 is already upon those of us posting from Europe, so I figured it was about time this thread started up.
For those of you who are voting: feel free to tell us when, where, how, and who you voted (for), though of course you aren't obliged to tell us.
I'm particularly interested in Dameon Angell's response to this (though you shouldn't feel pressured, Dameon), since he was our only real "undecided voter" in all of our forum discussions over the last few months over the once-forthcoming and now upon us election.
For those of us who aren't voting, this is a good place to keep tabs on how the election is progressing. Post whatever you've heard, or results in different states- not all of us get a chance to watch the news, especially from school, but we all have access to these forums, so we might as well keep track of how things are progressing here.
This is NOT the thread to:
- talk about how much you hate Bush;
- talk about how much you hate Kerry;
- talk about how much you hate the electoral college.
This is a facts-oriented thread so we can talk about what's happening in the election. You can discuss the campaigns, if you wish, in terms of how different tactics did or didn't pay off in the final voting tally. Additionally, if there's a controversy or something (which is extremely likely, and there've been several election-related controversies in terms of ballot construction and loss, as well as voter rejection, already), we can definitely discuss it here, but I'd like to avoid finger-pointing and general retardation as much as I can.
