The popup blocker sucks, even still with SP2, and most plugins don't work well.

And it is still called Mozilla FireFox right?
Most of the extensions and skins that were used in 0.9.2 weren't updated to version 1.0. So once I upgraded, most of my stuff were dead.

As far as I've noticed, IE is only better in regard to embedded media. Hopefully FF will gain popularity and that will change.

Its still Mozilla firefox, a mozilla product. Use Opera allready, Opera is harsh to every bad coded site. Opera is the way! Repent you FF and IE users! But if I would haft to chosse between FF and IE, I would take FF, without doubt! Heh, I converted my friend into a FF user.. I think opera would be little bit too complicated for him.. geeks uses opera..

My conclusion, IE is for newbs, FF is for more advanced users then IE users, Opera is for elites heh, not really FF and Opera are kinda like each other, but still lots of differences. But it a fact that "newbs" uses IE. IMGO (in my geek opinoin)

Anyway, Opera isn't free? I've been using mozilla / mozilla firefox for quite some time and I've started to hate IE users IRL, heh.

Opera is "free", the only thing it adds in is a adverisment on the right corner, or text ads. For me thats not such a big disturbment.
The ad/ads can be removed with a crack.. so it a full-version on www.opera.com.

I just like this tab function in opera, tho it can be used in FireFox too, I'm sure it can be modified so that I could like it more then Opera.
Before I used Mozilla, really love it. I quess Opera is just a geek trend.

                      Things I like about Opera:

                      - pop-up blocker

                      - tabs, example. [www.trenchwars.com] [www.google.com] [www.deviantart.com] many sites may be opened in the opera window. Just buy clicking on the tab you access the site that you surfed to. In other words, multiplied browser windows in one window (the main opera window)

                      - Window > closed.
If you accidentally closed a window you can get it back by selecting it from here, and all the back and forward history is still there.

                      - View > images > - show all images, - only cached images , no images.
Good for searching on crack sites, without having to look at the porn ads.

                      - You can modify your opera, toolbars, color, favs, etc.
So you can customize your opera to be a unique browser. So you opera browser can be very individual.

                      - Zoom 20-1000%

                      - Large options choices in preferences

I'm sure there are more qualities that opera has that is very pleaseing, I have just used Opera for more then 4-5 months, so I don't really know all options that could be set or used. IMO, opera is more advanced then FF or any web-browser. Though the bad thing about it is that it might be hard for users that don't have time to customize their browers, nor have that much computing skills at hand. Therefore FF is much better for people with less advanced computer skills.

(Typos? Sure! No doubt about it :turned: )

EDIT: from www.opera.com "IRC-based chat supports both private and group chats."

I read in the paper, like 3 days ago or so, that at this moment its like really dangerous to use IE 6, because its very easy to get hacked.
Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

I hope you know that Firefox can do all that and more, in an organized manner by means of downloading extensions. I'm not sure if Opera has those functions already embedded in the browser, but if for some reason you don't want the extensions anymore, you can remove them. Firefox also has some really nice skins.

Yes, those functions are embedded in Opera. At this time I'm sticking with opera. I might some day go FireFox, just to get a slight change in my Internet journies. :rolleyeso

No, it's in a very un-organized manner. Everytime I try downloading all the extensions it always always always fucks up.

And why would you want to remove any of those extensions? The reason they're built in is because they're the coolest thing since the internet.

The only thing FF has over Opera is it's web-standards compliance, but I think the mark of a true coder is someone who can make good CSS even in Opera

And/or opera's nonsupport of Gmail. But Gmail just came out with POP3 access (coming to people in waves so not everyone has it) and Gmail-lite, a php script on my weebsite allowing a simple interface that can even be read on PDS's and cellphones.
