Actually, Nintendo filed a patent earlier this year for a GBA emulator (U.S. patent 6,672,963). I don't know the legalities of it, but I hear they're using that patent to prevent others from making emulators for GBA, GBC and regular Gameboy games.

yea, dont write a gba emulator if you live in the us and dont have enough money to win the legal issue. other than that it should not your problem.
