feel free to crucify me, but I don't think richard pryor is that funny. He was funny for his time because he was saying shit that other people weren't saying, but I just don't think he was really that funny.
I used to think Carlin was funny, but when I hear him now, he just seems like a bitter asshole.
Say what you want, Chris rock is fuckin funny. Seinfeld is pretty funny.. worth a listen, but not fantastic. I really like David Cross.
