When I started the thread, I was thinking along the lines of being made to wait hand on foot for someone, like a slave. What if you were bought to perform some high pressure job and were used as a scapegoat when things turn sour? How much would they have to pay you to endure all that?
Possibly, if you were made to murder another on the orders of they who bought you. What would be the price for knowing you've ended someone's life and feeling guilty (assuming you have a conscience) for the rest of your life?

Except I learn stuff @ work ... lol 50k a year isn't much, but I get to learn network, software development and accounting stuff as I go.

I won't get a boring job that doesn't expand my knowledge in some ways for even 150k a year.
