Job hopping is stressful, but I learn more things, and that's all I care about.

But seriously, I understand where you are coming from, just because I am almost 50 doesn't mean that I wasn't young and idealistic once. I quit college in the 70's with only 3-4 hours left for a degree (as form of protest, I got my education and didn't need a piece of paper to prove it). I swore that I would never work in a large company like my father. My wife and I started our own business and found that we could still be happy living on $25k a year. I refused to buy into things like insurance, credit cards, and 401k plans.
