Anyone with a fascination with some form of violence or mutilation needs to sit down and have words with themselves. And stop telling the world that you're not offended, for the most part when people geniunely aren't offended they ignore it

I collect swords because they are beautiful works of man, if I collected guns or like bondage type stuff I might see your point.

And 'm not part of the most part, simply ignoring it isn't as much fun as laughing at it.

i guess i've started to collect music on the computer.. but only because i can (and want to) listen to it. i find it weird when people collect something they can't use; it's kind of obsessive and compulsive.

2) Have thought about taking kendo at some point or another

Sure collecting swords are fine, but there is a good handful of these people who find their hobbies via anime they watch. And since you watch anime, this might not come as a big surprise.

Don't like Kenshin, a friend of mine bought me the Samurai X VHS for a birthday, I watched it and was completely turned off from it.

I want to take kendo or some form of martial art at some point in my life, but I don't think 'm really built for it('m 6'4" 230), but I would love to learn kendo.

I got into swords because of my brother, because he was into fantasy and such, and 've just always liked watching movies like Kill Bill and Hero, as well as Bruce Lee flicks, I really am into the Asian culture, just haven't persued(sp?) it very much.

And I didn't take offense, I just hate stupidity and he made a stupid comment.

I used to collect consoles too.. a few that I had that you're missing are Colecovision, Intellivision, Pong, Super Pong, and that one with the high resolution (for the time), but all the graphics were greenish, I forget the name.

And yes, collecting swords is nerdish... "I own Odin's sword".. think about it.

I used to collect donald duck pockets, got about 250 of them (out of under 280)... I also "collect" booze bottles that I've drank myself :P got a nice lil' collection of those =D
