If you have nothing better to use, toothpaste really does work. I had an unreadable CD that was screwed because of a deep scratch. I put some regular white toothpaste along the scratch and rubbed it into the scratch with a cotton cloth. I just kept buffing it and then I put a little bit of water on the clotch and wiped off the excess toothpaste. It fixed the CD. It's probably not a good permanent solution but it worked. There's probably some retail product out there that does the same kind of thing.sdg

Resurfaces most damaged CD's through a sanding-like process, like iKillBurger said. Runs about $30-40.Originally posted by ToneIt is now time for the energy shift of the 7th root race to manifest on the 3D physical plane and uplift us back to 5D.Originally posted by the_paulGargle battery acid fuckfaceOriginally posted by Material GirlI tried downloading a soundcard

This is quite rare CD. I need a really fool-proof method. Of course I have it on my computer, but I would like to be able to show (and play) the actual CD.
(Its a limited edition =w= EP called the Lion and the Witch.)Originally posted by Jeenyusssometimes i thrust my hips so my flaccid dick slaps my stomach, then my taint, then my stomach, then my taint. i like the sound.

As long as the CD doesn't have deep scratches (ones that actually hit the data as PO said), yeah, it works like a charm. It does leave a funny pattern on the CD surface, but it doesn't affect playback at all. Best $30 I ever spent.Originally posted by ToneIt is now time for the energy shift of the 7th root race to manifest on the 3D physical plane and uplift us back to 5D.Originally posted by the_paulGargle battery acid fuckfaceOriginally posted by Material GirlI tried downloading a soundcard
