I have yet to see any problem, however complicated, which, when you looked at it in the right way, did not become still more complicated. Personally, I subscribe to neither Utilitarianism, Abolitionism, or Hedonism, but rather think of myself as a capitalist.

And unlike some of the more idealistic people who read these forums, I do not view capitalism as something negative. I view capital as being dynamic, not static (wealth is static). I believe that the highest use of capital is not to make more money, but to make money do more for the betterment of life.

if there were a such thing as a federation of planets and you lived on another world were things were different and then came here for the first time ever, youd probably be very surprised even shocked to see our culture. youd see all are marketing scemes/scams, our TV shows and the bombardment of silly ads between the shows, how 90% of the wealth is in 10% of the population in many areas of earth, how the federal reserve is privately own, the real story behind drug trafficing and who oversees all of it, how the system is completely controlled and minipulated, even depressions and booms, etc etc etc. you wouldnt see any kinda of balanced and fair capitalist system thats for damn sure.

So you think that capitalism is the reason for this? What you describe above is more "Me-ism", and that has been around as long as humans have walked the face of this big rock. If you lived on another world and arrived at any point in history, you would see stronger humans taking advantage of weaker humans.

At a high level, I would like to make a small impact in my corner of the world while I live. I stand the best chance of doing this from inside the system. Additionally, I can make the greatest impact by making money and then doing good with it. Of course there is some 'Me-ism' in me, money helps you avoid doing things that you don't like, and I don't like doing a bunch of stuff. But I fail to see how putting oneself outside the system and earning a small amount of money over one's lifetime is going to allow anyone to change anything. I call that giving up and apathetic.

personally i think it is close-minded for religious people to still believe in their god with an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence that disproves religious theory

A lot of critics say that, but they completely overlook the entire purpose, and even the existance, of faith. When talking about religion, you can't ignore the concept of faith because, to the religious, that's the whole point. You can be as analytical as you want but you can't use science to give you a reason for belief. People say they won't believe in religion because there's not enough proof, but faith is belief that does not rest on proof. If you require proof first before you have faith, then you are missing the point completely. If science did provide proof supporting a religion's ideas, then in a sense, it wouldn't really be a religion anymore.

what a snide comment kid, Hello.

That old story book your talking about is more like a guide to better living.
It's been watered down throughout the ages. Although I believe in God and the higher powers and lower powers ( devilish spirits ) that be. It does not mean I support churches and their off-occult like messages and values. ie. Roman Catholics, Christians and Jehovahs Witness especially. Their just money makers designed to make people feel worse about themselves into giving their money making the righteous wolves in sheeps clothing richer.

You may say theres no evidence of gods existance, and your right there isn't any substancial physical evidence to prove just whether or not there is a god and the easiest thing for someone to say is, " Look at all the bad stuff happening.. if he was so great he'd fix things "

But with the overloading amount of supernatural occurances with ghosts. I'm convinced of one thing, we live beyond death.

I do believe in an omnipotent power, karma and a place beyond death. I'm not sure if I can take Jesus into being the son of god. Rather what woman really does get pregnant without having sex. Perhaps his stories are just a placebo, maybe he was advanced race of alien or just maybe he was as enlightened as the sun.
