dang the only console i owned was a SNES

some of my friends have x'box's and ps2's and a came cube, so from time to time i play them,

i find that all these halo and shot em up games i'm spending more time looking at the floor or sky than looking striaght a head and as a result get owned whilst spinning around shooting at teh floor. I much prefer the pc setup for first person shooters.

true. i like the ps2 controllers too, the original GC controllers are also really comfy

I agree totally. However my friend bought a controller from GAME and it is much less comfortable. He always gives it to me to use when we play multiplayer.

I don't see what the big deal is with the size of the xbox controller, unless your a stick figure nerd you really shouldn't have a problem with it.

The black and white buttons are placed in such an awkward position. Almost every third party controller has placed them in much easier places. Possibly the only more awkwardly located button I've seen is the z button on the Gamecube controller.

Joking? The N64 analogue stick is one of the crappiest pieces of equipment ever made. Does anyone have an older N64 controller where the stick isn't completely limp and still works? Also it's very awkward if you play a game that needs both the direction pad and the stick.

A work of beauty, I use it for Guilty Gear X2 #Reloaded and soon Capcom vs SNK 2, tried playing Halo 2 with it and it was damn funny >D

Also, did anyone ever try using an Atari joystick in your Genesis/Megadrive or vice-versa? It works, and it's pretty funny.

Looking at that picture and your avatar together, Emaho, I'm surprised to realize how much an X-box controller resembles a Shark. All it's really missing is the nose.

You have to move your thumb less than 1cm up from the Y button to reach the white button, maybe it's just cause I'm used to it, but I find the button placement pretty much perfect. The Xbox S controllers which have the white and black below XYAB are much more awkward.

Also the right thumbstick is a bit too far to the left on the S controller and the XYAB positioning is more regular which I don't like.

My ONLY gripe is that they could have swapped the X and Y and the A and B and then the button positioning would have been the same as the Snes, cause I still refer to buttons as the Snes buttons. (Even when talking about PS2 buttons, I'll say press Y instead of Square).
