Look, Zeus made a rule about no image/bandwidth leeching when we reformed the rules. I usually don't give a shit if it's 1 or 2 pictures (truthfully it would be way too much work for smods to deal with), but all that thread was, was a bunch of idiots spamming the TWL forum with random pictures from all different sites. You should be happy we don't warn people for hotlinking to some offsite image because according to the rules, we really are supposed to. I just think it makes more sense if I only delete pictures that are really huge.

If you're going to post stupid shit, at least put it in Useless Crap. If it's really really fucking useless in the wrong forum I'll just close it. If it encourages people to be an idiot I'll probably close it too. When we changed the forum rules, the main intent was to make the forums more serious and have less idiots encouraging others to be stupid. Unfortunately, a lot of the things we planned didn't ever really come to fruitation, but we'll still try to at least make the quality of the boards a bit higher than it usually is.

It wasn't stupid shit, you just have no sense of humor. I'm not suprised by that.
Thing is though, the spirit of the zone has plenty of problems without you trying to get your licks in on it.

This is not your mailbox. This is a public center for information exchange. If someone were sending you said pictures in private messages, sure I could see that. You see, the mailbox is yours and yours alone. That is to say the content is directed at you. If you didn't ask for it and didn't want it, this is spam. On a forum however, there are more people than just you. So there are people that are posting it and having fun doing so, that means it isn't so much spam, as a thread that doesn't suit your taste. The content in this case is directed at all the people that are enjoying it.

There are also threads with women in various stages of undress (No nude though, as the rules state), those haven't been closed. I guess they're not spam in the context of a message forum.

I actually think it's quite humorous when there's random pictures, random comments followed by Stab saying "this is the most retarded thread ever" and closes the thread....so i guess there's value in that as well...
