I thought it was pretty bad, but then again I didn't ever read the comic book. I'm confused because leaving the theater I thought everyone else would have hated it too, but everyone liked it... What gives?

saw it. it was great. dont be retarded and take it like its a real movie. its based off a comic book which kicked ass btw and its pretty violent. but i like violence so good times.

What I don't get is how American Cinema makes money anymore, that should say more about how many stupid motherfuckers are in this country rather than the election.

I just came back from seeing it and I loved it. It had a great pace and stays true to the original. Getting Frank Miller to co-direct was necessary for the process.

I thought it was one of the best, and probably the most beautifully shot movie I have ever seen. The black and white, intermingled with Color added one of the coolest effects in a movie I have ever seen. The film is just so pretty to watch. I was constantly mesmerized by the blend of colors, and the appeal of the green screen. Especially, the scene in the beginning where the woman smokes a cigarrete, and her eyes light up.

Ok, so the story was a bit ridiculous, as was the graphic violence, but thats the way it was intended. People are bludgeoned much beyond what any human can take, and sometimes are shot more times than can be counted, yet they still survive, and even fight back. If you take the movie literally, it's terrible, but when you watch the movie as if it's a live comic book, you can't help but constantly smile.

I honestly think this is one of the best movies I have ever seen.

And as far as being as good as other comic books, this one is soooo much better. It's basically like watching a comic book come to life.

also, Josh Hartnett was so bad ass in Sin City.
