  • Movies with great twist endings?

Gimmie some good movies that have great twist endings. Some examples of what I mean are movies like The Others, Fight Club, Se7en, Arlington Road, Unbreakable etc.

I know you guys must have some good suggestions.

Obviously, don't spoil the endings... thanks.

Hide and Seek has a twisty ending reminiscent of Fight Club.

Its frustrating to write these lines after every post^
I'd hope there would be another way..like some automatic system that fills them itself after every post.

Yah, I agree with that one.

Shawshank Redemtion had a fairly twist ending too, though, it was a good build up t'wards it. ^-^

Memento. strangely enough, it has a surprise beginning. you'll have to watch it at least twice to make sense of it, but I think it was an ingenious way of telling the story from the main character's point of view.

I thought Matchstick Men had a pretty good twist.

Meh, I thought it was pretty predictable.

Old Boy: A korean film with a twist that will probably give you a brain hemmorage.

Please note the voted score, not the bullshit review below it.

Shiri: Another Korean film with a damned awesome ending.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance: Okay, not really a twist ending, but it's definetly fucked up, and I'm feeling like recommending Korean shit.

Basically, I'm not gay, but if I was, I'd be gay for Chan-wook Park.

                Infernal Affairs

see the original, awesome, HK version, before Leo fucks it up!

                What? You want American shit?

                L.A. Confidential

although IMO the book's far superior.

                Chinatown

                Blade Runner: Director's Cut

                Body Heat

Body Heat is sorta trashy... imagine a 1 chick, more noire version of Wild Things. That means no chicks kissing, but just as lurid.

                The Big Sleep

Classic. The twist doesn't come through nearly as well on film as it does in the book, but still a good one.

Wow, I'm on a noire kick... might as well keep going.

                Sunset Blvd.

                Creepy. Like "The Shining" creepy.

I didn't see the ending to Magnolia coming, though in retrospect, its obvious.
