1) The piece is about a film so it talks about film stars (in this case Mel Gibson) who are worshipped as role models
2) People are pretty pissed about the film as they think its commercialising the death of christ etc (read the article)
3) Sabbath is saturday, right? There's a line in the article saying "Mel Gibson - who visited the college on Saturday - wanted the audience to be transformed by his film, Mr Wallace said." He obviously didn't rest
