Props for at least owning it.

Yea, I think the Rockets got jobbed at the end of that one game (I think it was the out-of-bounds call in game 5), and I really think that one bad call swung the momentum in Dallas' favor. But you're right, in the end of a 7 game series, the best team wins. One call does not a series make. It was just a shame that the Rockets completely imploded in game 7, though. I really wanted them to beat Dallas.

My picks are still the same: San Antonio over Miami in the Finals*.

*(as long as Duncan and Shaq avoid injury.)

Is Phoenix still in it? If they are, I'll continue to support the home team.

Yea, Phoenix is playing Dallas in the 2nd round, and I would not be shocked if they sweep them.

And with the Spurs facing the Sonics, that means Phoenix will be playing San Antonio in the Western Conference Finals.

id be pretty shocked if the suns swept the mavs. the mavs at least attempt to play defense, which is worth something in my mind even though i like the suns offense. i just hope someone beats the spurs, i really cant stand watching tim duncan protest every call the ref makes, he looks like such a bitch all the time and i hate him.

i now also officially hate the pistons because my girlfriends roommate likes to watch basketball and root for all the favored teams because she says theyre "her teams" because she knows of one player on the team, and thinks that the player "looks nice". the entire sixers series, i was rooting for the underdog as any good sports fan should, and rooting for allan iverson, as any good sports fan should, and she was yelling about every single play as if it wasnt obvious the pistons were going to win the series no matter what, because she thinks "hamilton is a stand-up guy". god its annoying.

Actually, after seeing game 1, I think the Pistons can sweep the Pacers. Indiana will probably get one at home, but I don't see it going to 6 games. Yeah, the papers made so much hype about the matchup, but the two teams were on two completely different levels last night.

Pretty crazy game in Phoenix tonight. I'm kind of suprised Dallas came in there and came out on top in that slugfest.

I gotta give mad props to Avery Johnson for coming up with a great gameplan, and squashing Phoenix's offense. Phoenix loves to run, and by stepping up the defense and fouling a lot, they really made it a grind for the Suns. They just didn't let Phoenix get a good rhythmn going for very long at all. And when the Suns would get a small lead, Nowitzki or Finley would step up and knock down a huge shot.

That's the same crap Jerry Sloan used to do to the Kings when they would face Utah in the playoffs. And tonight it worked to perfection.

Well, that was a fucked up game last night...why did we let them win in the god damn 4th quarter. There's their home win, I bet they will probably get another we are up in series 3-1 or something...

Btw, if you don't mind me asking, where in MI you live?

Yeah, the we kinda forgot how to defend late in the third quarter. Didn't help we couldn't score either. Pistons tend to have streaks of no offense but we couldn't bounce back. I'm not worried, we're still the better team.

I'm from Ludington. It's on Lake Michigan, like just below the base of your pinky finger (you're from Michigan, assuming you know what that means)

Holy shit, I guess this year has been unpredicatable...sort of. I cant' believe how well the Mavs played yesterday. They were on fire on both ends of the floor. I can't believe how solid their defense was, either.

Same goes for the Sonics. I can't believe those two teams tied it up 2-2. Omfg, the conference finals are going to be incredible, it looks like.

                                Sonics are taking it baby!

Last night, without Rashard Lewis, and with a banged up Ray Allen, the sonics beat the Spurs, and led pretty much the whole game.

                                FUCK YEA!
