Well, after what seems like forever it's time for my 1,000th post. You're looking at it. I've decided to use it to take a look back at the past eleven months.
I've seen things from almost every rung of this forum's social ladder since I joined. I began as an outsider looking in, shunned for a number of reasons, including but not limited to the company I kept, my style of play, and my habit of trash-talking everyone, even people I knew I had no business challenging. An incident with death row comes to mind, but that's another story for another time. A couple of months went by and the controversy surrounding "the Pure newb" died down, and I sort of quietly blended in with the community. However, my say-so in matters still held little value as some people refused to let the past go. They would not let me live down the fact that, in all my newbiness, I honestly believed I could destroy the pure pubs that had come along and hampered my play style (which in itself pissed off many people). Today, while I'm still relatively new, I feel a sense of respect that was (rightfully) missing in my days as a forum fledgeling. It's a good feeling.
I've met some great people on these forums. Aside from a few cockbags who will remain nameless, all of you are awesome. Special props go out to PJ, Troll King, Vyk, Fit, ZeUs!!, Rudy, and countless others for teaching me that coming to a community like this with a chip on your shoulder gets nothing done. If not for the education these guys bestowed upon me, I would probably be getting buttfucked by Annux and Melufa in TW Forum Prison. Honorable mention goes to schope for teaching me the ways of the ******* word, and to Liquid Blue for being the best damn buttsex partner ever.
