    Couple things:

1.) The splash page is a bit brothersome. I'd advise either making the bar go left to right instead of top to bottom. Because if anyone wants to read the text (instead of just looking at the symbol) they need to turn their heads.

2.) Some of the image links are unclear as to what they are actually linking to. For example, on the main page, the featured project, the + sign links you to the site itself. I had no clue what it did till I hovered over and read the tooltip or clicked it. The about link for that is a bit clearer, but still a bit vague.

3.) On the portfolio page, Moss Lane Estate is broken link (it seems twsites killed it or something). Probably want to fix that. Also the resume links dont' work (i'm going to assume you haven't gotten there yet)

4.) This is more critical on your portfolio itself then design elements. All your sites look somewhat similar to eachother. I notice that you love to use curves/bevels/gradients/dark colors over your page. The Offshore Institute, in my opinion, is the best site on your portfolio. It'd be a nice addition if you can make a website that is very crisp and uses less graphics. Something like www.yahoo.com. Another thing that I (this is completely your own opinion) is to not make such standout borders for the website. Meaning, I feel that the edges of the site draw too much attention. Additionally, I noticed that you don't have any sites on your portfolio that readjust to fit ANY resolution(maybe they do adjust on resolutions, but I haven't checked since i'm lazy :P). A good example of a site that I think does a good job of this is www.paladen.net. Some more diversity throughout your portfolios would enhance it alot.

5.) I don't know if keeping Syndicate squad site under Personal is a good thing or not. While the site itself is very nice, it gives someone who is a possibly employer the knowledge that you play video games. That's not always a good thing heh. :P

Looking back, I feel like I was really harsh on some things. But overall, I love the design and it looks great. I like the the colors on your site, and I can tell you put alot of effort into this. Great job!

(psst, when are you gonna make me a website? or teach me? :P)

Yeah this site has been a project of mine for a couple minutes here-and-there for awhile now. Alright, the splash page is just there for the time being, it will be going. The preloader is actually a layer that hides the main page until it all loads, so you know, you don't see all the mess of the loading of the document. However, the main page WILL be changed to help with loading times (i'm optimizing it as we speak). Grammar is also being looked at, seeing how I set it up as a filler before anything else. And yes, the 'X' logo is the Exino Studios logo I had on the previous designs

Contact pages will be moving to some other form of submission soon enough. As well as a few other little details here and there. Basically I just wanted this site to go live and get some results back from it.

So far so good. Also, the resume page is down for a resume, it's intentionally blocked for the time being. Should be live again, in about, 2 days or so.

Thanks for the reviews, keep them coming in

I like the colors. However, I would do whatever you could to reduce the load time. I was tempted to bail, instead of waiting it out.

Also, you may consider adding link rollover effects. In the portfolio section, the font size for the links looks on the small side. If you used a pseudo-class for the links, the user would be certain which link their mouse was hovering over.

Aside from that, I agree with some of the other common suggestions, like the splash page, and the writing not being written sideways. I too, had to turn my head sideways to read the smaller text.

Looks very nice, but I don't know what to click on. There are tons of buttons but not a PRACTICAL way to move around the site.

edit: ok I found the buttons in the upper right, but I would have left the site before finding them if I was browsing a "normal" website.

Also, the online version of your portfolio (http://www.exino.com/resume/resume_adam_moore.htm) doesn't work.

You have awful english in your portfolio section

"All the work that I do, I put quality time and effort into making something unique. I believe if that if you can show a client work that no one else can do, or that is different then everyone else, they are likely to continue business with you."

thats brutal, I wouldn't do business with someone who can't even throw words together.

It's just a few typos that might put potential clients off a bit. And perhaps the use of language could be though out a bit more. Specifically, under the 'My Work' section. "Become and Exino...."

Also, it might be a little dark for anyone who is not a teenage boy gamer. :fear:

The first sentence is incredibly ackward. if that if makes no sense either, here fuck it, i'm going to rewrite it for you.

For all the work I do, i put forth quality time and effort into making something unique. It is my belief that if you can show a client work that is different and original from anything else that they are likly to continue doing business with you.

I really think you need to rehash this paragraph, as even in it's 'fixed' up version, it stills seems odd and completly out of place.

You should make the whole menu thing a little larger.

                              Rehash:

                              Becomes:

"All of my work is composed uniquely. I put my time and quality effort into creating a design that will capture the viewer's attention. This originality is exactly what keeps clients coming back for continued business."
