Couple things:
1.) The splash page is a bit brothersome. I'd advise either making the bar go left to right instead of top to bottom. Because if anyone wants to read the text (instead of just looking at the symbol) they need to turn their heads.
2.) Some of the image links are unclear as to what they are actually linking to. For example, on the main page, the featured project, the + sign links you to the site itself. I had no clue what it did till I hovered over and read the tooltip or clicked it. The about link for that is a bit clearer, but still a bit vague.
3.) On the portfolio page, Moss Lane Estate is broken link (it seems twsites killed it or something). Probably want to fix that. Also the resume links dont' work (i'm going to assume you haven't gotten there yet)
4.) This is more critical on your portfolio itself then design elements. All your sites look somewhat similar to eachother. I notice that you love to use curves/bevels/gradients/dark colors over your page. The Offshore Institute, in my opinion, is the best site on your portfolio. It'd be a nice addition if you can make a website that is very crisp and uses less graphics. Something like www.yahoo.com. Another thing that I (this is completely your own opinion) is to not make such standout borders for the website. Meaning, I feel that the edges of the site draw too much attention. Additionally, I noticed that you don't have any sites on your portfolio that readjust to fit ANY resolution(maybe they do adjust on resolutions, but I haven't checked since i'm lazy :P). A good example of a site that I think does a good job of this is www.paladen.net. Some more diversity throughout your portfolios would enhance it alot.
5.) I don't know if keeping Syndicate squad site under Personal is a good thing or not. While the site itself is very nice, it gives someone who is a possibly employer the knowledge that you play video games. That's not always a good thing heh. :P
Looking back, I feel like I was really harsh on some things. But overall, I love the design and it looks great. I like the the colors on your site, and I can tell you put alot of effort into this. Great job!
(psst, when are you gonna make me a website? or teach me? :P)
