I prefer the PS2 controllers over the Xbox ones but the Xbox ones aren't so bad, maybe that's because I have big hands.

Oh man, I'm totally geeking out over this.

We have a new Metal Gear Solid for the PS3, that'll be taking place 2 years after the events of MGS2, and will be starring Solid Snake. Raiden will probably be in it, as a supporting role (How Plisken was to Raiden, Raiden will now be to Snake). The theme is "No where to hide". And, after saying he's done with the series 3 times now, Hideo Kojima is doing it again as well

And a new Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater - Substance edition that comes with, among other things, ONLINE PLAY. Teams of 3 v 3 or a Snake vs the Enemy 5 on 1 combat.

And now, the biggest rumour going down is that the Final Fantasy 7 tech demo isn't just some 'tech demo' to tease the FF fans more and make them cry. With the new Advent Children movie, the Vincent Valentine action game, and the mobile game following the Turks, word has it that Final Fantasy 7 will be remade on the PS3 and that was the opening that they have already completed. The reason that it's been taking so long is that SquareEnix wanted it to be perfect, and the major jump from PS1 to PS3 seems to be it.

what i heard was that Hideo wouldnt be directing it, but would be helping out doing some smaller job. it's good news though if he is actually doing it.

and, to be honest, even if they feel tht the remake of FF7 will be 'perfect', i doubt it will be better than the original

He's gonna be the main 'creative director'. Bringing up all the ideas, etc*. A second co-director will be more with the technical aspects of the game. But don't get me wrong, this will still be considered as "A Hideo Kojima Production"

I don't care about specs, or how the machine looks, the only thing that matters is that the games are fun.

Conc has good points about standing them on their sides though, I don't htink my entertainment center could accommodate such a thing without moving stuff around unless it stands less than about 6 or 7 inches tall.

majin uub are you a fucking retard? Your main arguments are about graphics. Did you forget mario 3. Mario 3 is better then any game that came out in the past 5 years. Graphics dont matter man. You say gamecube is weak, I guess you never seen resident evil 4, wind waker, or mario sunshine. Gamecube is going to be online so more third party companies will feel more need to make games for the revolution. I was satisfied with ps2 , xbox , and gamecubes graphics. An upgrade in graphics doesnt mean shit to me anymore. They better bring some fun new games into the game world.

I just made that up, but it's sounds good. It's probably true anyways, or they're just giving people the option to use gamecube controllers they've already bought as controllers for their new system. But still, the revolution controllers are pretty radically different, so it might just be that the console can play two different types of games and for them needs two different controllers.
