"What the christ did he say?"
yeah the Marxist theory...hah...no. This would be more or less the dependency theory, bro-tha. See marxist implies that the reason everything sucks is because class divide which was caused by elitist imperialists colonizing foreign lands. Dependancy says that the reason everything sucks for them is because the growth of the developed countries has come at the expense of the third world nations. This seems really similar, and it is true they both are. But, the marxists think that the dependency theorists are bullshiters because they only deal with surface level problems whereas they see themselves delving deeper into class conflict. Now, this is why this is a dependency problem rather than a marxist one. Yung, is a well known, although apparently not too respected player. I like the guy, he hasn't done anything wrong to me. He has his name known and is more or less considered to be a good player. Ender, who might have been around for quite some time, although that is left up to god knows who to prove, doesn't have quite the same social status in this game as Yung does. So we can relate Yung to a developed modern nation like....America, and Ender to some underdeveloped nation like...Honduras. Now, Honduras is known by a lot of people, but not by nearly as many people as America is. This is where the problem comes in for Ender, see, he is getting fucked over because of the difference in nominclature or in "status" because he is a respectable player, not the worst, but most definitely not the best, and he is slowly progressing and trying to get better, whereas Yung is already good, well at least to some people he is, heh just like America interestingly enough, but he has a base of people who know he exists and know his skills. If this were a Marxist theory problem, Spider, then Ender would be pissed because he and Yung would have two different computers and two different connection speeds and all that jazz because Yung would have whereas, Ender would not. Now, we all know that both of them are from Canada, and roughly in the same area in Canda at that, so they can't have that much of a different connection speed or whatever you want to consider the differentiating factor. The fact is, this is not a Marxist conflict with resources, each have had the same resources, i.e. zones they can play in, time to play, people they play with/against, and the like. This is clearly a dependency theorist school of thought, and thus is a dependency problem.

p.s. I just bullshitted all of that.

Here's what I don't get. Ender, yung told you "ure ignored until the end"... So why the hell did you need to get the last word in on the matter if you're so damn obsessed with being a good, polite person or whatever? Maybe if he took you OFF of ignore, you should have told him to ignore you forever. The fact that you brought this onto the forum, to me, means that you don't want to be done with the interaction, which contradicts the last thing you said in your conversation (the only point yung missed). Every topic you start seems to be a misguided desperate plea for attention. Stop making yourself look like a pathetic loser, and maybe people will stop treating you like one.

BigWig, I dont want respect, if it's deserved for being a good player or something like that, yeah fine, whatever, but respect asked for is like a consolation, meaningless, I dont care about that.
Its not about attention or wanting to be liked. I've already said it, dislike me if you feel like it, and as for attention; no one's forced you to read anything in this thread. I can see how the idea that I'm posturing for effect or begging for love is communicated though, but you've mis-understood what I've said. The very least I can give you is: I'm sorry for posting on a message board.
arrogance, I have no 'desperate need to be accepted' as you put it, Its not where this came from.
Honestly now though, yeah I can see the futile nature of posting this thread, more likely I should have privately dealt with yung about it, but he really is a pretencious and presumptious jerk (imho only), not the first, not the last.
I can't place a label on how he wronged me, and in most people's views he didn't wrong me (hell, I agree) but I guess the more accepted way of retorting to someone who behaves like he has towards me, is to say "shut the fuck up, fuck off." and the issue is done with. Thats how things are done in Trench, and generally online, but thats just not me.
Me, being myself, as yung 'advised' me to be, is me writing a much too long explaination of why his behaviour is completely unwarranted, and that I'd much rather make peace, chill out, and take base.... I know we don't all have to be happy happy joy joy, and certainly don't need homes on lollipop lane, but, if you intend to only insult me through a box, and over a wire, go talk to a brick wall for all the good you're doing. I couldn't care less what sort of horrid thing you've done to my mom or how much I 'suck', I'm here to play a game. If you find yourself in dire need of telling me something like "Ender, you should try this or that" by all means.
Personally, I don't go about telling people to 'fuck off' or 'shut up' online, or offline, it's not me..... sorry, i guess.
If you really had a problem with something I was doing yung, arrogance, and anyone else, and felt the need to pity me and give me advice, the words suck, ass, newb, or 'fuck' were not required.
This isn't an issue of respecting me (good lord people, its a video game, a fun addictive one, but a game), I take issue with how you respect yourselves and the way you speak to others. I can't convince you or make you be different from who and what you are, but I can suggest. This is all a suggestion. Sorry (?)
I was and am perfectly willing to take advise and incorporate it into how I play the game or behave. Example: WingZero pm'd me during my first time being a terr in the happy fun time priv basing game, and simply pointed out what I was doing stupidly, he didn't use foul language, he didn't strut his stuff, or try to make me subordinate to him, he just gave me some advice and I thanked him.
If I see a new player in the game and he's consistently running into mines, and damnit, they love to run into mines, I will privatley message him and point out the option of going around mines, or heck, repelling them. I do this without insult, pretence, or "you're a newb! Press Esc Q!!!!!"
Again, I apologize.I'm a rocker. I rock out.
