what do you prefer? i love electric guitar but some songs are too good on acoustic and they out-due anything done on electric guitar, i guess i'm a sucker for anything acoustic.

acoustic because you can just play it. no other things to have to fiddle with. and i like the acoustic's sounds better anyway. it's also a lot more portable. at the dorm i would take it to other people's rooms, play it in the hall, whatever. electric i could do that but it wouldnt make any noise cause i couldnt bring the amp.Ripper>cant pee with a hard on

I like acoustic more because it's easier to take along. Another reason why I like acoustic more is that my electric guitar is +20 years old and the mics are broken and it has so many faults. And uhh... I can play acoustic better than I can play electric guitar.Regency> not in for dd lol

Having quite a few guitars, electric & acoustic. I would say I play the acoustic more often than my electrics.
It would also depend on the style of music you play. If I am playing Bluegrass, I will surely not use anything but an acoustic.
But there are always those acoustic's with Fishman Pickups as well as other style pickups that would allow you to play electric, so whats the big deal between the two?
If your just going to jam with a few ppl....I would say Acoustic over electric.May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.Comment
