I found a new and easier way to trap weasels.
All you need is a glob of Vaeline jelly (KY jelly will work in a pinch). Go somewhere in the base where a weasel is likely to slink by, such as at the top. Hide in the rocks, then pull your underwear off and throw it on the trail (this is bait).
Now, when a weasel comes by, he'll follow the scent of your underwear, and stop there to rub his nose in it. This will daze him a bit, but he enjoys it. While hes sniffing, put the vaseline jelly on your index finger and hold your finger straight out from behind the rocks. The weasel, when he sees it, will slowly spin around, then back his rump up on your finger.
At this point, all you need to do is wait until his but is fully on your finger. The weasel will close his eyes and start growling a bit, and smiling. Now, quickly hook your index finger and lift up! There you go, a live weasel ready for steaming, broiling or basting over an open fire. Serve with Levi Milk.
