Non religious, historial data over a discredited tinfoil site that can't even get their facts stright. Your "proof" is a theory nothing more. Try backing it up with something more like historical records? something that is not an idea or a coincidence in popular narratives... Very weak indeed. My statment still stands, the idea of jesus and what he taught is more important then him physically existing, which is most probable but not important.
uh so why dont you just study other sons of gods of other cultures and see the exact parallels and then you can conclude that its all a rip off of the same repeated thing over and over or you can say the author was wrong. thats what the author of 'the Christ Conspiracy' did and she also gave references and is the one who wrote the article above i pasted. to read the FULL article click the link, i only pasted part.
I guess you must think the author said:
"HMMMMM im going to make up a bunch of parallels between other sons of god from other cultures, and write an article about it, that will make false proof that jesus is a myth because of all the coincidences and parallels, ahahahahahaha, ahhh hahahahah"
I'm going to have to evoke the Telc@t rule and say that we should stop trying to respond to T0ne with logic and just go straight for the insult.
EDIT: Good job, Fit.
Way ahead of you, big guy.

Doesnt seem to be too much of a crazy tinfoil hat person to me
except for the last paragraph hahaha but doesnt change the fact that christ is a myth

repeated by who, who the fuck are you trying to attack here? You'll believe anything some random site posts. She has a theory, does she say it happened, NO. BECAUSE: like any scolar, however discredited, would not claim something like this without something beyond a shaky concidence. It's not enough to say he never existed, just the same there's not enough to say he was the son of God, but this isn't about God. There's enough to say a man roughly 2,000 years ago was killed by the Romans, the rest is just a story/fluff which has inspired millions to be better people, live better and make this world a better place for others. If you can't believe that then I feel sorry for you.

if 25 students took an essay test and they all wrote almost the same story, would you call the fact that they cheated a "theory". no, of course, not, you would call it "clear indictation" that they did, because the chances are countless to one that it would be a coincidence. I thought that its hard to call something like that a "theory", more like bingo theres the proof, unless its all a massive unimaginable coincidence. i mean, what more would you need to not consider it a questionable theory? maybe if there were 1000 sons of god all named jesus in 1000 cultures and the odds were a google to one instead of just enromous?
Actually Yes. Scientific methods would not allow for a person to jump beyond that facts and methods of determining the truth. From what she has brought forward and others have found lies within that, probably to bolster the theory, it is not enough to right out say he never existed, is there factual evidence to counter historial records and not a theory, or even a way of explain how, who or whatever is driving the conspiracy over thousands of years within that theory?
Really give something to this thread or I'm gonna ask that a forum Mod close it for spam.
according to Kolar, all this is probably fake, meanwhile we celebrate easter with eggs and bunnies and admit to the 25th being a roman creation.
50 Similarities Between Jesus and Horus
The following was adapted and expanded based on an article available from religioustolerance.org. Upon revision, each point will be fleshed out and this will be more of an essay than a list. As it stands, this list is hardly original... but revised, will hopefully be more authoritative and objective than many of the Christ-bashing pages out there.
1. Both were conceived of a virgin.
2. Both were the "only begotten son" of a god (either Osiris or Yahweh)
3. Horus's mother was Meri, Jesus's mother was Mary.
4. Horus's foster father was called Jo-Seph, and Jesus's foster father was Joseph.
5. Both foster fathers were of royal descent.
6. Both were born in a cave (although sometimes Jesus is said to have been born in a stable).
7. Both had their coming announced to their mother by an angel.
8. Horus; birth was heralded by the star Sirius (the morning star). Jesus had his birth heralded by a star in the East (the sun rises in the East).
9. Ancient Egyptians celebrated the birth of Horus on December 21 (the Winter Solstice). Modern Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25.
10. Both births were announced by angels (this si nto the same as number 7).
11. Both had shepherds witnessing the birth.
12. Horus was visited at birth by "three solar deities" and Jesus was visited by "three wise men".
13. After the birth of Horus, Herut tried to have Horus murdered. After the birth of Jesus, Herod tried to have Jesus murdered.
14. To hide from Herut, the god That tells Isis, "Come, thou goddess Isis, hide thyself with thy child." To hide from Herod, an angel tells Joseph to "arise and take the young child and his mother and flee into Egypt."
15. When Horus came of age, he had a special ritual where hsi eye was restored. When Jesus (and other Jews) come of age, they have a special ritual called a Bar Mitzvah.
16. Both Horus and Jesus were 12 at this coming-of-age ritual.
17. Neither have any official recorded life histories between the ages of 12 and 30.
18. Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus. Jesus was baptized in the river Jordan.
19. Both were baptized at age 30.
20. Horus was baptized by Anup the Baptizer. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
21. Both Anup and John were later beheaded.
22. Horus was taken from the desert of Amenta up a high mountain to be tempted by his arch-rival Set. Jesus was taken from the desert in Palestine up a high mountain to be tempted by his arch-rival Satan.
23. Both Horus and Jesus successfully resist this temptation.
24. Both have 12 disciples.
25. Both walked on water, cast out demons, healed the sick, and restored sight to the blind.
26. Horus "stilled the sea by his power." Jesus commanded the sea to be still by saying, "Peace, be still."
27. Horus raised his dead father (Osiris) from the grave. Jesus raised Lazarus from the grave. (Note the similarity in names when you say them out loud. Further, Osiris was also known as Asar, which is El-Asar in Hebrew, which is El-Asarus in Latin.)
28. Osiris was raised in the town of Anu. Lazarus was raised in Bethanu (literally, "house of Anu").
29. Both gods delivered a Sermon on the Mount.
30. Both were crucified.
31. Both were crucified next to two thieves.
32. Both were buried in a tomb.
33. Horus was sent to Hell and resurrected in 3 days. Jesus was sent to Hell and came back "three days" later (although Friday night to Sunday morning is hardly three days).
34. Both had their resurrection announced by women.
35. Both are supposed to return for a 1000-year reign.
36. Horus is known as KRST, the anointed one. Jesus was known as the Christ (which means "anointed one").
37. Both Jesus and Horus have been called the good shepherd, the lamb of God, the bread of life, the son of man, the Word, the fisher, and the winnower.
38. Both are associated with the zodiac sign of Pisces (the fish).
39. Both are associated with the symbols of the fish, the beetle, the vine, and the shepherd's crook.
40. Horus was born in Anu ("the place of bread") and Jesus was born in Bethlehem ("the house of bread").
41. "The infant Horus was carried out of Egypt to escape the wrath of Typhon. The infant Jesus was carried into Egypt to escape the wrath of Herod. Concerning the infant Jesus, the New Testament states the following prophecy: 'Out of Egypt have I called my son.'" (See Point 13)
42. Both were transfigured on the mount.
43. The catacombs of Rome have pictures of the infant Horus being held by his mother, not unlike the modern-day images of "Madonna and Child."
44. Noted English author C. W. King says that both Isis and Mary are called "Immaculate".
45. Horus says: "Osiris, I am your son, come to glorify your soul, and to give you even more power." And Jesus says: "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once."
The birth of Jesus Christ - September 11, 3 B.C.
Biblical, chronological, historical and astronomical evidence concerning the birth date of the promised Messiah to Israel, every man's lord and savior, Jesus Christ - points to Wednesday September 11, 3 B.C. between the hours of 6:18 (sunset) and 7:39 (moonset) Palestine time.
Almost every Biblical scholar has known and attested for centuries, that Jesus Christ could not have been born on December 25th. The December festival in Rome known as the Saturnalia, or the Feast of Saturn, celebrating the birth of their sun-god was adopted by the church in Rome as Christ's birth date in the third century. A special mass was instituted and celebrated for Christ. Hence, the name "Christ-mass", abbreviated "Christmas". The pagan celebration and traditions of decorating fir trees, lighting the yule-log, and many other customs associated with Saturnalia were adopted.
The truth of God's Word regarding the events surrounding the birth of Christ in the fall of the year has been lost in the traditions and artistry of pagan and modern celebrations. If we are to truly understand our savior's birth we must study God's Word from its inherent accuracy. We will find that on that September evening the Word of God reports no record of three wise men, drummer boys, or flying angels. We will see the quiet rejoicing of a handful of shepherds, Mary his mother, and Joseph reported in the gospel of Luke. The record of magi from the east following "his star" recorded in Matthew occurred almost a year and a half later and is not the subject of this presentation.
Any infintesimal shred of credit he may have still had just went down the drain.

show what i did to discredit myself. show it. someone else here posted about how jesus wasnt really born on 25th and how it was a roman thing and i posted something agreeing with that. i also posted about horus and jesus similarties. so, are you ready to show me what was discrediting besides the whole story of jesus which is terribly incredible since it parallels with so many other sons of gods? what was discrediting huh? its all made up, december 25th, the other phony history of 9/11 bday. dec 25th comes from the fact that its 3 days after solstice and the sun is 'reborn'
as if easter is the only barrowed pagan thing in christianity. as if christ is the only son of god who rose from the dead. goes a lot deeper than that, sorry
Does this kid believe everything he reads on the internet
Arnt there some other forums were he can discuss this crap were he may fit in, instead of boring us with his crazy long quotes that no one actually reads.
