I spent last monday in London whoring myself out to all the recruitment agencies and I've been given a 3 month contract at the Home Office (government department thats opposite to the Foreign Office) starting tuesday

Work for yourself....hit peoples trash on trash days prior to them being picked up, go to Flea markets and Garage sales and buy crap and sell it on eBay

My nephew did this last summer and made some good tax free monies!

I'm unable to get a job until I can drive, which I could be doing right now if I wasn't lazy, so I'm just babysitting for now. It's great most of the time, easy money, except when you're babysitting so many kids that you have to sit there and count the heads to make sure they're all still there every 5 or so minutes.

I have had 3 jobs, one was working construction for my dad during summers between school, and the other 2 were during 3 years of school (both resteraunt jobs at nite).

The construction was ok, got to go to some pretty cool places, drink some beer with the dad, and got some good money. The resteraunt jobs were ok, but the nites sucked, and the pay wasnt as good.

Now im about to start a job at a large Trucking Company that has an outfit of around 30-40 tractor/trailor rigs. Ill be washing them mostly, and working on them once in awhile (which will help if i go for an automotive career). Will be 7:30-5:00 every day and 7:30-12 on saturdays, hour lunches. Which beats working construction (not knowing how often i will work, and never being home)
