The reason I got a summer job as system administrator is, because it's the company I did my internship a few years back. One of the advantages of not messing up your internship is a well-paid summer job apparently
Plus, I get to work in an fully air-conditioned building during the hottest time of the year! ^-^

some rich bitch owns a deli and non profit charity organization and co-owns a real estate and brokerage company. i'm her bitch.

all i ever do is text people on my phone. i even had to buy extra messages cause i was using them all up at work. oh sometimes i take naps and occasionally stuff some shit in envelopes or staple some papers.

I can make stuff on my lunch....... and I get to drink all the water I want.... no real perks other then the parking spot I get its about 30 seconds from the door..... which is a big change from the big welding I was working at last year that I had to walk a good 15 mins to get to my car from the change room.

Thats on a par with countering "I fucked your mum" with "she's dead" even though she blatently isn't. Not that I'm doubting the legality of what you said whilst trying to provoke outcries of sympathy, as someone in the background passed pandagirl a violin, but where the hell were you during term time and how comes its the summer and she's suddenly completely incapable of coping? Will you never get a job?

Nah, its quite complicated, I was just outlining the circumstances. If I must go into detail here so be it, my mother has polio and in recent years, her condition has gotten worse and seeing as my dad left 2 years ago, she needs quite a bit of help with doing general house/garden work and this house is quite annoying. Always something to do.

During term time I have been working at college, but the house has deteriorated since the Christmas break, so this summer will consist of a lot of housework and gardening. 6 weeks break isn't really a decent space of time. I have saved up about 200 quid which should see me through going out with friends a few times, but I won't be buying luxuries.

You know I'm not one for trying to get the sympathy vote on these forums.
