I work at a bookstore, and have been working there for about a year now. This badboy is coming out on July 16th here in the states, and we already have about 600 reservations. I've read all the other books and I must say I enjoy them. Then again I'm a fantasy nut (read the LOTR and Redwall series when I was 10-12) so I might be a little biased.

Another wacky thing about me. Anyone here know of the Hardy Boys series? Yes? Well do you remember the hardback, old-school books in the series? Yea I read all of them back in like 5th grade or so- don't know why, the library had them and I guess I had nothing to do. Funny thing is that they would probably suck now if I read them, since I'm not a mystery fan anymore. I also picked up one of the old Rogue Squardron books from the self-titled series that I had laying around my house. What did I think of it after reading the first few chapters? Bo-ring-as-shit. It's just odd to me since I really liked the entire series a few years ago. I'm afraid to go re-read Animorphs now, can't ruin all my childhood series.

Harry Potters get interesting if you really start reading them patiently FROM START TO END. There's really no point on starting from Chamber of Secrets, or the Prisoner of Azkaban book, since you don't know what has happened in book 1, and it really bugs.

I started from book 2 unfortunately, and on school I told them I had read it even I was just read few page of it because it was shit.

After a while my mom came up to buy the first book, and when I read it, I was like 'I really need to read the second book' and it was totally different from before I havent read the first one.

So I just realized I can't really remember what happened in the fourth book and I certainly don't have time to re-read it. I know they kind of summarize what happened in previous books at the beginning of each new one but would anyone mind typing up a little something for me and/or dishing out a link or two to a site that already has something written up?

if u ask me, j.k. rowling snoozed and loozed. she took too long to write the damn 4th and 5th books. people who were at a prime age for that stuff when the first three came out are looking at what colleges they want to go to by now. people who are a prime age for it currently are screwed because they would have to read 4 books in a row to understand this one.

I got it reserved at the library (get it for two weeks, library is getting about 20 copies. I'm #4 on waiting list, its got about 500 last time I checked. Probably in the thousands by now.), not costing anything because my mum works there and gets new release reserves for free.
