double chins

can someone please explain to me what a double chin is? i've never been able to spot them.

i think this picture is one of someone with a double chin (1st) and without it (2nd) but i seriously cant see a difference other than his neck is a little smaller in the 2nd

The second chin is that roll of fat that hangs below the regular chin on some ppl. The thing that cracks me up is if you look at ppl like Al Roker and Star Jones, they still have really fat heads, despite having lost all that weight in their torsos and asses from the surgery.
