"Beam me up scotty" is THE ONLY thing I know about star trek, excluding spocks greeting thing which a star trek fan friend of mine can't do and I can. It pisses him of every time.

That sucks. The only thing I find disappointing about that article, is yeah, nice and good he was Scotty. But James Doohan also fought in WWII, got his finger shot off on D-Day, and was a Spitfire pilot, for the Canadian RAF. The man was a lot more than an actor. I'm just glad he doesn't have to suffer from the Alzheimer's anymore.
