Wasn't taking a shot at you, it was more of a generalization (maybe a bad one, I'll admit that) about fans that get too caught up in these rivalries and say dumb things.Originally posted by ToneIt is now time for the energy shift of the 7th root race to manifest on the 3D physical plane and uplift us back to 5D.Originally posted by the_paulGargle battery acid fuckfaceOriginally posted by Material GirlI tried downloading a soundcard

man i know lots of people whose grandparents have died of minor concussions.
im a redskins fan, dan snyder will overpay some ridiculously terrible free-agent again, he will be extremely terrible at football, use up a lot of salary cap space, sean taylor will go to jail, and the redskins will go 6-10 but remain one of the most profitable teams in football for ol' danny.5:gen> man

I can agree and disagree with this. Depends on how many yrs ya go back. I for one hate the F'n Cowboys. I would take a Pat's game anyday over Dallas!Originally posted by Pure HatredPS: The Patriots are still fucking boring. At least most champion teams prior to them have been fun to watch.
As for me...born and raised in Philly...so I am a Birds Fan! Eagles that is!
I must admit that I do hate our local chant of E..A..G..L..E..S...Eagles....makes me sick.
I would love to see the Colts make the Bowl this year for the AFC...and of course I will pick my Birds for NFC.May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

I would have at least added some of the 70's Steelers into this. I am not even from Pitt. but honestly...the Steelers from the 70's with Bradshaw where awesome!May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

Maybe RB is true, but guys like Jim Brown need to be considered too. Walter Payton was definetly great though.Originally posted by ExaltI duno but someone in tw shoudl start a private one for tw players...of course i would win with my bears team owning you all

Best Middle Line Backer Ever? Maybe the toughest, but Lawrence Taylor gets my vote. That dude was nuts.
And the Bears lost my respect after I saw Jim McMahon in shades singing "We're so bad We Know We're Good!"Originally posted by ToneWomen who smoke cigarettes are sexy, not repulsive. It depends on the number smoked. less is better

CB is the only real difference of opinion I have with your picks, drow. Sanders was good, but Darrell Green was a top-caliber corner for a longer period of time. Even in the twilight of his career, at 40 years of age, he had the speed and cover ability to stick with the league's best wideouts. DE was a close call, because I loved watching Bruce Smith dominate back in the early 90's, but Reggie White (RIP) gets the nod. Other than that, I agree 100%.Last edited by PH; 07-27-2005, 11:14 PM.Originally posted by ToneIt is now time for the energy shift of the 7th root race to manifest on the 3D physical plane and uplift us back to 5D.Originally posted by the_paulGargle battery acid fuckfaceOriginally posted by Material GirlI tried downloading a soundcard

D.Green was awesome. But there was a fear about Deion Sanders in the league that D.Green did not have. Well, at least when he was in his prime. Teams rarely tested his side. He literally took away his side of the field and everyone knew it. I watched a lot of Dallas Cowboys games, and I can remember Troy Aikman throwing on D.Green a lot more because of Irvin's size advantage and having success. It was a different story with Deion Sanders. He had the size that could match bigger WR's and he had the best instincts/swagger I ever saw play at that position. Teams literally stayed away from Deion Sanders at one point. Of course he wasn't as durable as D.Green, who lasted a long time in the league. Its just too bad Deion had the nagging injuries which took away a lot from him. But when healthy, you wouldn't see anyone throw on him. Or you would see Deion doing his famous prime-time dance down the end-zone, which we all got accustomed to watching.Originally posted by Pure HatredCB is the only real difference of opinion I have with your picks, drow. how can you say walter payton isnt the best ever.... i mean shit before emmet smith played 100 seasons he had rushing record in half as many seasons.... and half the plays like the goal line "jump over bodys" play was invented by him...and he was just...amazing if you watched him. Emmit smith had a O-line with him all the time...shit the ONLY good teams the bears put around payton was around 83-86...3 seasons and he started in 75 with NO team around him...i mean he carried the ball without an O-line for sooo long....
Best physicaly talented RB- Jim brown and deion sanders
longest lasting rb - emmit smith
most creative, tough, and BEST - walter paytonRaCka> imagine standing out as a retard on subspace
