Scrapped Princess and Last Exile, 2 great fantasy animes.
Midori No Hibi, about a guy that likes to get into trouble and beat up people, until he one day finds out that his right hand turned into a little girl, great comedy, must see.
Heard Visions of Escaflowne was a really good fantasy anime too, anyone who have seen it all? (I've only seen 3 eps).

Yeah, the full name is Visions of Escaflowne... one of my favorite animes ever. I'm actually rewatching it right now.

A company has bought the rights to it and are probably going to release it on TV overseas (North America), so if people are still distributing the material, its like stealing (piracy), because there should be a fee associated with it but you're getting it for free.

isn't it already piracy before its licensed?

Yeah is good serie, but the end is just, its kinda stops there, as if there was no meaning. You get quite curious what will happend next, you know.. :|

They do that with a lot of anime series... Even Inuyasha ends with no real ending... Though they said they'll complete it through OVA specials and more movies...

I dunno, maybe someone will pick up the project later or make a movie on it to complete the story... Who knows...

I don't really know what you like, but here is what i am watching currently:
Trinity Blood, Naruto, Bleach, Mahou sensei negima, Ichigo 100%, Basilisk, Gundam Seed Destiny, speed grapher, legend of duo, and Shuffle. Most of the anime I watch were released by Gonzo, and seeing how Funimation went allout and liscensed most of their anime's, I cannot provide you with a link on the forums........ If you want a source for these shows pm me.

Edify it isn't Piracy until an Animation company in YOUR area has the liscense to distribute series. If you don't live in a jurisdiction where it is liscensed then you are free to watch however you like. The only exception is if the subber's don't do it for free, and have the liscenser's permission to distribute it as long as the company gets the royalties.

It is piracy whether it's licensed or unlicensed, however, if its unlicensed it's much more justifiable. If it's unlicensed, then the anime will be in Japanese only and be sold in Japan only and not in the States... etc. so you basically have 3 options: 1) learn Japanese and buy it overseas for some huge $ if it's possible 2) download fansubs 3) not watch it at all. Under these conditions 2) is much more justifiable than if it was licensed, in which case you don't have much reason for not buying it.

Well, or you could also take my method, which is to download licensed anime fansubs, watch them, and then buy the DVDs 3 months later to ease my conscience and throw them into a corner somewhere and forget about them because the fansubs are better. Sorta like me buying mIRC 1 year after I stopped using it.

True because in the end we watch somehting that should be payed for, only problem is there's no law that enforces it unless it is liscensed in your jurisdiction. Oh and ratty Okoi Sugoi still subs basilisk (google it) cause thats is far as I go.

Kinda funny that they haven't done anything about dattebayo. I mean Naruto got licensed, but they still sub. :| Whats with that? Though I couldn't care less, I mean umm yeah.
