Peter Jennings was by far my favorite of the old 'big 3' nightly news anchors. Saw him in a lot of interviews, some on Canadian TV (Jennings was raised in Canada) and he was just a really brilliant and articulate guy.

I grew up on Tom Brokaw. I'll admit it.

But when I was old enough to realize that there were different people to listen to, I discovered Peter Jennings. His writing style was vastly superior to that of anyone else in the business.

He will be missed.
