i see the reason why spinsanity brings up politics even if it is in a 2d space ship game....and i do it for the same reason....
think of it like this if you cant see why we do it...in the end we shouldnt get flamed for doing such things because just how many people use the game as an escape from reality or stress...politics is somthing i know can really stress me out sometimes...its somthing im really passionate about...so when i finally am able to just shout out what ive always wanted to be shouting out, it is a big relief...even if i know no one cares it just helps to be able to do that...just how sometimes someone says "NEWB" or "Hey guys whats up? Anyone into trance music?"....its the same reason in the end if there is no other reason....so please...let us also have our therapy..our escape! ok? thanks

Now i know i dont need to reply to this as you all seem to know where iam comming from. However this particular person has been warned for 4+ months to stop spamming politics in my zone. The only reason i care is because the majority of the player dislike it. And it causes them to issue helps and cheater messages in regards to it. Hes not only trying to spread his message in my zone but spamming it. People dont like that. On top of that concern he has left countless idiotic messages that i have to read everytime i check my in game messages. He has been warned if THIS does not stop that i will issue a network ban and he will lose his rights to play on the SSC biller. I consider myself a very very flexible person and have given him 4 months worth of warnings. And then escillated it to silences which he evaded And thus leading to a ban. He is now no longer welcome in my zone. And if he continues with the messages he wont be welcomed on the network. He sent me the url to this topic as if to prove his point that iam some type of nazi. Iam glad the people who frequent this board can take things at face value and can see what i have been having to deal with
Sorry to waste your time by having this member post this garbage here. And then having to read my reply. Hopefully by the responses he has recieved thus far. He will get the hint.

Yes I understand that both you and spin are both losers and can't talk about politics to people face to face. I hate people that pull the "duude I'm just trying to escape from reality." Thing is only weak minded fucks try to escape from reality, because guess what dude? Reality... is real, you can’t fucking escape! (That is unless you get some leaded support) Ok now I'm going out on a limb here and saying you guys really don't have any friends outside this game... So what do you do, you become huge keyboard ninjas, log onto a 2d-spaceship game and voice your opinion on politics to a crowd of pre-teens... Talking about politics is great, I have awesome arguments with my friends, and the thing is that I do it IN PERSON not over an online game. Hell I’m sure you guys know what IRC is, why not open up a channel and talk there. ITS NOT THAT FUCKING HARD! Hell you could like google a politics forum and go on there and have educated debates about what type of underwear Kerry wore during his campaign. The point I’m trying to get across is you can go ahead and talk about what ever but doing it over this game is like talking to a room full of kindergardners. I would hope anyone trying to have a good "talk about politics" would realize that...

Some have suggested this catch-all rule covers my one year ban in Metal Gear and allows for testtubes war on free speech....
From Metal Gear rules ....
12. The aforementioned rules are the foundation of SSCC Metal Gear CTF, and are not a complete list
of the rules. While new rules are constantly being made (and changed), it becomes more and more
crucial that you cooperate with the Metal Gear staff when at all possible. This includes situations
where a rule may not be explicitly defined. While you may or may not completely agree with what a
moderator has to say, you are still asked to comply with his or her requests.
I am having trouble seeing how a rule like this could be used properly....
BUT I sure see how this rule could be used by a mod to silence political facts that are uncomfortable for him to deal with!
People allowing TestTube to have his way, and his Rule 12 have lead him to be so belligerent that he threatened me with a network ban several times before this one year ban. While zone rules is beyond the scope of the council. I suspect a network ban threat is something that the council considers every now and again. I have reason to believe that this is not the first time TestTube has behaved this way.
When there are no rules or mechanisms that hold the owners accountable-- abuses of power will occur; the soul of Nazi Germany creeps into Sub Space.
It would be nice if there was a way for Trained and others to have mechanism to ensure that further abuses do not occur.
Trained said, "Thought I disagree with it, zone owners have their own rules, and there is nothing SSC ops, or other people can do about it"
It is disappoint to see that SSC members have no power to regulate their own, but I do hope you can at least monitor how TestTube (or any other abusive owner) applies their special rules to the SSC network.
Do not think of me so much, think of the next person that is allowed to be bullied by use of rule 12.
