Last night I had a few beers with some friends and at about 12.45 AM we went home (not even that drunk...). One of my friend has a cool LandRover and when he was driving on the parking lot, really slowly btw, and I was like "hey, you can't hit me!" Little did I know...
So he turned his Rover into my direction and when he was about to hit me I just stepped back.
A few hints when trying to avoid a car that is about to hit you:
1. Be sure you take quite a large step backwards
2. It's not enough to just step back with only your left or right foot: make sure you end with your both feet parallel with each other.
3. Keep a safe distance between yourself and the passing car.
Last night, I had some problems with hint 2.
The Rover drove over my right foot and I almost died crying. The feeling of a Landrover driving slowly over you foot is like an elephant tap dancing on your foot. I heard several people shouting "STOP YOU IDIOT! YOU'RE CRUSHING HIS FOOT". The idiot stopped and I almost passed out. He fricking stopped his car but it was resting on my foot now. That's where the world turned purple to me.
Apparently the idiot realized that he was standing on my foot and he slowly drove his beast from my foot. I sat down and removed my shoe and sock (a blue sock btw) and I stared at my foot. I just saw my foot getting the size of a melon and turning purple. Everyone was like: "Omg, let's go the the hospital! Get him some ice!!!". It might sound weird, but I felt no pain anymore, it just burned a bit. I asked them to help me to the car and I headed home.
When I got up this morning, my foot felt quite normal: it wasn't swollen anymore, nor purple. It's still burning and some of my toes are quite blue and purple but they're not really hurting. Pretty weird...
