She also looks like a zombie. Someone might want to point out the finer parts of "appropriate makeup" to her.
Music and medicine, I'm living in a place where they overlap.

What does he get out of it? If I've learnt anything about Bush it's that he doesn't do anything if he doesn't gain from it personally.

Hmm, this seems to have happened in the past. She does have law experience, and it is very frequent for lawyers to become judges; still, the leap to judge is not really that similar to the leap to Supreme Court justice.

I wouldn't use this as an indication of Bush being the Devil unless you want to bash all other Presidents who have appointed people without judicial experience to the Supreme Court. Among those people without judicial experience is Rehnquist. I assume everyone thinks Rehnquist is a pretty good Chief Justice. Earl Warren had no judicial experience either.

I think what really makes this nomination stand out is that this administration has started a pattern of appointing people to positions without the necessary experience. I mean look at the president himself, he failed in the oil industry twice even with all the connections his family already had. Then, his dad's friend tells him that he could run for governor on his name but he needs to do something more so this friend of his dad's tells him to use some of his dad's money to invest in the ranger stadium. He was elected governor, then elected president (well technically, damn electoral college, majority didn't even want him).
(ZaBuZa)>sigh.. i been playing this game since i was 8... i am more mature then ull ever be...

This is typical for the track record of GWB.

Have you ever noticed that when he talks he seems to always studder and have problems saying the most simple words in the English language.

Usually a 3 - 5 letter word...and it can be as simple as the words bad, yet he seems to have problems...even with a teleprompter that has his complete speach in front of him.

This guy would have flunked public speaking...and the fact that he made it into Yale University is amazing in itself.

When did they name that airport in TX after his family?

Oh well....he could have nominated Pat Robertson at this point and I wouldn't be surprised.
May your shit come to life and kiss you on the face.

I vote against Jerome simply because you can't trust a man that wears girls pants.

In the constitution, it doesn't state that anyone nominated/elected to the Supreme Court needs experience, or any other requirement.

I think the issue is not so much as her lack of experience as that she is a member of Bush's inner circle. How can she be expected to be impartial?

As if Scalia and Cheney buttfucking in the woods, while greasing their cocks with Halliburton lube wasn't bad enough. Yes, that's what they were doing on that hunting trip.

Jesus Christ, when even Michelle Maulkin and Andrew Sullivan are talking shit, something is seriously wrong.

Actually...that makes me kind of suspicious. Like it is a trick, or something.
