Another method is flashing words. In a study published in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology in 2002, high school students were subliminally exposed to pictures of a Coca-Cola® can and the word "thirsty" while watching an episode of the television show The Simpsons. The students reported feeling almost twice as thirsty as members of a control group, although they had no idea fleeting images were embedded in the program.(1)
there are also two audio methods i know of, one is to embed messeges within music at a volume just low enough for the music to cover it up completely, another employed by the national security agency is the use of accelorated voices just fast enough to not understand consciously.
later i will link you to a subliminal program you can use while you are on your computer. 30 day trial shareware, $15.
now scroll down for the answer to the first pic....
when i first saw this pic in a book of mine (the original one above, not highlighted), i didnt know it was a subliminal, i thought "what the hell is this sex pic" then i read the caption and it said only 5% of people can see the subliminal immediately. i found that hard to believe since the SEX was blaring out at me so obvious, it didnt look subliminal at all to me. but i showed the pic to many and they could not see it!
