There was a show on g4tv that tested all kinds of science stuff. They had a movie theather with hidden messages. Testing to see if subliminals work. There was this one where they were sliding down one of those slip n slide things on a hill. There was a cone holding the one side of the slip n slide down. So the camera showed a guy diving on the slip n slide up close so you could see the cone too. The cone said "cough" on it. The camera was on that spot for less then a second and about half of the audience coughed. I was amazed.

The only way you can see it is if the picture is cut off, like the second one. By looking at the full view, you don't see any subliminal pictures.

no, we are talking about an intentional subliminal that the advertiser intentionally airbrushed to be this way, not a game where something someone sees something in a picture subjectively. advertisers have used subliminals since around the 50s. the FCC has banned some forms of it. Recently the GOP and the Sci Fi Channel broke this law with subliminal flashers on TV.

edit: fluffz if you see this look carefully at the bottom part of the flowers. In the first two flower's is the s, second and third flower has the e, and the third and 4th flower has the x.

aha. granted. yet, i didnt think about sex for a second (more than usual) so this subliminal brainwashing thing must be bullshit. <_<

My eyes went to the flower heads, the bee... Ignoring the part of the picture that actually had the words in it.

Thing that caught my eye was the left hand flowers vines wraping around the other then i look up to its head tilting like it was about to kiss the flower and then noticed there was a small bird down by the vines there too

then i glanced at the bee and was like this is one of those stupid cheesey association things that is ment to make you think about sex. And i stopped looking completely ignoring the outline of the word sex.

It is like nockm says, its mostly down to where you look at first. Also the context was already given about a subliminal message so that affects how you look too.


Isn't this picture an optical illusion then? Or if not that, very decorative text :P
