Facebook and Myspace accounts getting kids into trouble

I'm bumping this because I have a funny story to tell.

Some girls were planning to do what PandaGirl! preposed to do, except they were going to all wear their skirts above the appropriate level.

They put it on on bulletins and sent prepackaged HTML codes to people to spread the word.

This sort of rebellion sickens me, so I sent it to the Faculty.

This is the response I got:

Dear Mr. Marshall,

Thank you for your concern about the North Haven High School dress code. We would like to tell you that the Administration was previously aware of such a protest.

We are actively aware of "MySpace.com" and "Facebook.com" and of their capabilities. Many schools are given the ability to view student's profiles on "MySpace.com" as well as the bulletins on "Facebook.com". This is not a privacy issue, but a security one.

We would also like to tell you that if anyone were to try such a stunt they would be immediately disciplined.

I turned them in because I hate the bitches, and because there are more pressing issues than them wearing a skirt above the acceptable length.

Currently, there are racial fights between the "Project Choice" kids from New Haven (mostly African-American), and the Football players. There is a fight every day and the faculity does almost nothing to prevent them.

I think this is a more pressing issue than having a skirt above the alotted place (which is suppose to be at the end of your finger tips when your arms are let limp at your side), which is a pretty acceptable length if you ask me.

That's a lot more lenient than our dress code though. Everything we wear has to be knee length - shorts, capris, and skirts. I'd be happy to have finger tip length.
