I'm giving a French phrase book as a christmas present and I'm going to add some extra phrases on a scrap of paper and slip it inside the front cover. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Given the nature of the questions, I really don't trust babelfish with this one

I took french for 9 years in school. I did not take french in 10-12 or in university. Safe to say I know how to pronounce some words, but french is lost to me.

Anyone ever learn how to speak latin? Im thinking of taking it next year at uni for shits.
