What the hell is wrong with us? Why do we tolerate threads/posts where everything be interpreted as a conspiracy of some kind? Why can't people see that the most likely explanation of an event is almost always the apparent one and not some hidden reason? Are we, the readers of these forums, as stupid as some people assume we are?
The root of all superstition is that people notice when a thing hits and not when it misses.
Read that again and again. It is absolute bullshit to use logic to look at something that hits and then work backwards though the reasoning. You can NOT look at heroin users, look back and say that because they all smoked pot that your conclusion is that smoking pot leads to heroin use. Using this kind of flawed approach would then lead you to believe that drinking milk leads to heroin use. You at looking at 'something that hits', and not looking at 'all the times it missed'. The perspective MUST be from the opposite direction (how many milk drinkers started using herion).
Yet these forums are full of this kind of bullshit reasoning. We look at ONE case where a big black X appears over someone's face and declare it as meaningful. Instead we should be looking at 99.999999% of the times it has not. Doh.
This is the same bullshit as the dumbass talk about 9/11. Where were all these ideas of conspiracies, building issues, etc., BEFORE the event happened? If things are facts than they can be predicted BEFORE they happen. It's a bunch of moronic modern day Notrodomous dribble. Notrodomous didn't predict shit. He made sweeping 'predictions' that can be applied to a huge amount of stuff AFTER THE FACT. Big deal, who can't? Some dumb shits tried to say the Notrodomous predicted 9/11. Sure, AFTER the fact they piece it together. NO ONE stood up and predicted it before it happened.
If everyone would simply start thinking clearly and from the right direction about this stuff we would have a much higher general level of intelligence in these posts. We should all just start completely ignoring the threads that get started with this kind of dribbling crap as content. But if we must reply to these kinds of stupid threads and posts that are approaching a topic ass-backwards, call bullshit on it for the reasons stated above or simply reference this thread.
If anyone wants to convince the readers of this forum that something is a FACT, then make some specific predictions based upon your theory and let's see if they come true. Otherwise just shut the fuck up and take it somewhere else where the readers have an IQ below 100 and will buy into the bullshit flawed logic.
