PC Mods

[Subjugation]

I was searching for an old thread about pc mods. In the advanced search, all I was getting were posts with people bitching about the mods and complaining about bans. :P I'm looking to upgrade my system sometime in the next few months, and I thought it would be fun to build everything on my own from scratch.

What kind of light and window mods would you guys think were both fun and not excessive? I want something that looks very cool, but isn't like...stupid skulls and dragons and radioactive symbols. I want it to look customized, with modern lighting, but sleek and not ridiculously impractical.

I'm thinking of this case, with the option of a top window with a blowhole and the plain LianLi side window:

I figure it will give me plenty of light emitted, plus show off the interior. So, what kind of lights would you think about using? I've only used fan lighting so far. I don't have any experience with the cold cathode versions and would love someone who's used them to explain the details to me.

Although, wouldnt you rather a decent case (windows + lights = pasè?) with a good cooling system.. but as with modding, go as mental as you want :P

If I ever come across some extra money, I'm definately going the lego route.
