Macs have less bugs because alot of their software is specific to the OS. Windows however will let you use almost any app on windows 95 or higher.

People that use macs are retarded. The suck for any and everything. The best type of comp is a linux/windows dual boot imo.

Also Whom ever said Mac over a pc or whatever, they are both pc's lol. PC just stands for personal computer. Not what the hardware is.

Also I will admit I didnt read anything that was posted after the first few posts so :fear:

Also the whole virus thing, no one writes virus for unix based os because its a waste of time, its more fun to attack microsoft.

And because Microsoft is security hole ridden, unlike Unix.

Your whole thing about how Macs suck, do you like, listen to anything we ahve said?

      Gaming = Windows
      Graphics, Music, Video = Mac

      Now shut the fuck up.

What Icon does it display or what happens when you try to start it up DTF. I do have some parts, but I can't guarantee anything. If it is junked though, I might consider buying it off you in order to strip it and add whatever I can salvage to my little junkyard I've established.

Hit me up on iChat and talk me through what it does.

Macs' popularity in professional use dates back to 80s when most professional software was written for Macs, iirc. Nowadays it's mainly a choice of preference. I've found that well thought out WinXP based systems are just as reliable as Macs for digital imaging and audio editing, but that's just me. That means no n instances of BT and firewall stealing all resources. I won't go into OS differences, but I'm personally very fond of the archaic file structure found in Windows (I like to know where my files reside, gdit).

Besides, Apple is moving over to standard PC hardware so in the future it's really a matter of taste now. Macs look cool, though, and I was seriously thrilled when they finally decided that the user could handle a 2-button mouse (the original design was result of thinking that more than one button would be too complicated . Otoh, I'm also happy that I might be able to avoid paying for hip design if I suddenly decide to get a Mac for home use. 0.02€

Seeing how most companies use Macs to produce their graphics and images, as well as their videos, I'm pretty sure that others will disagree. The Apple displays are so crisp and display colors so perfectly that companies pine for their hardware and software.

Alot of Gamers hate Apple because there is little to no gaming compatibility copmared to Windows.

But you should remember, gaming shouldn't control your life. I was an avid gamer until around 2003 when I bought our first iMac, and in 2004 we sold that one to a family member and got a new one, which I have had ever since. I gave up gaming after my PC died right after I bought a GFX card, flushing down 100$ plus whatever programs I had on that PC along with music, pictures from family vacations, and millions of other unretrevable and unreproducable files. I can count on my hand the number of times my iMac has died on me. Once, whilst trying to save a corrupted iPod...

If you prefer Windows, that's cool. Hands down, Windows rules for gaming, emulation, and programming (certain types). I'm just saying don't let GAMING rule your decision, it is an all around choice.

P.S. I guarentee you didnt currupt your harddrive installing a video card. So why are you talking about computers when you are obviously just a moron that knows nothing besides, "Hey look this thing makes pretty pictures"

I didn't say I corrupted my HD after I installed a video card, I'm saying that my hard drive corrupted a month after I got the video card, which means I wasted a shit load of money. And it wasn't just the HD, something on the Motherboard shat out and refused to work.

One of the reasons I would get a powerbook for college is that I could get away from computer gaming aka continuum.

But what if I wanted to download some stuff, i wouldn't be able to use programs like eMule/bitspirit again, would i?

And yes, you can use BitTorrent clients
