The IT Crowd's excellent and 24's untouchable, every sunday night about 5 of us meet at my friend's place and we take (sportsman's) bets on the kill count for this week's episode

The Wire is really a quality show, despite being "cops and robbers" style. There's plenty of machivellian dialogue and plot twists, and the writers actually have the freedom to show how absurd the "war on drugs" is, from the perspective of the user----all the way to the bribed city councilmembers and dock workers. Interesting characters, too.

Boston Legal also is a good show. How can you go wrong with Denny Crane?

Every half one and half four is scrubs o'clock in my house, we have to otherwise we end up working on our dissertation. As a result I've seen each episode about 15/16 times each and fun

I thought this thread was about "new" shows, not new episodes of old shows.

For new shows-- I like Black/White, Free Ride (its pretty funny), Sons & Daughters, Average Joes was alrite, American Inventor seems interesting. I get basic cable so I can't watch any HBO or anything like that.
