dunno, I always figured that until you reach your mid 30's, or have kids, alcoholism seems like a happy-go-lucky thing. After that, it seems pathetic, unless you're an artist or something.

No, it wouldn't. The MX440 doesn't support pixel shaders at all which the game requires. Also I don't think your processor would cut it.

I concur, I found the game to be eh.. It's more leaned toward a younger audience that has too much time to spare I guess.

huh? unless oblivion is radically different from the elder scrolls games i've played, it is most definitely not "leaned toward a younger audience," and besides, younger than what?

Oblivion is basically Morrowind with better graphics and a worse menu system. There's lots of blood and you can murder anyone you want... you can get strong enough to murder everyone in the game, besides the guards which keep respawning. It's really not aimed toward a younger audience...

I kinda see what you mean about it being for people with too much free time... I'm like 20 hours in and I have barely done anything in the main quest yet. It's fun to just wander around and find quests in taverns and crap.

It depends what kind of videocard you have, but if your card at least supports 1.x shaders you can still play it:

I'm not going to explain it all so read the FAQs and crap. Basically it gives a replacement 1.x shader package for people with older videocards. The game obviously doesn't look as good as the screenshots you see on websites, but it's playable.
