Yeah I agree with Jones you don't treat any animal like that its just wrong.

I'm not a big fan of dog eating either, but it's the fucking same how you treat the animals if they're going to be food anyways.

Cows and pigs and etc. today are only bred for one purpose today, to get eaten.

Anyways, different cultures feel differently about different animals, juse because they eat dogs doesn't make them wrong because you think of dogs as a cute little house pet.

That's relative. Of course dogs are cute when they're puppies, most animals are. But personally, I hate dogs when they're bigger.

I'd never eat one though for a few reasons. Firstly, if they taste as bad as they smell then no thank you. Secondly, I'm unaware of any health risks involved in eating canine meat and lastly it's frowned upon by my culture & society.

If that's your logic, pigs aren't exactly the most sterile creatures either. The whole thing is relative. If you're offended by some practice that you're unfamiliar with, then tough titties. Deal with it.

A lot of people have pigs as a domisticated pet. One of my friends has one and she says it's just like a dog but in a less annoying and smarter form. We kill and eat pigs, should we get nuked by the pig lovers? I'm not pro-dog eating, but as many people already said, it's all the same as eating a pig. And some pigs, as long as many other animals, do get very badly treated like in that video, but I truly doupt that that situation is true everywhere, I think it's pretty rare actually. And Peta is just some propagandist bullshit.

I respect the culture in that country and it's not "wrong" to eat dogs as it isn't wrong to eat cows in Finland. However, I seriously doubt it's common that they actually strangle cows to death. We had actually one who was working on a slaughterhouse and she assured us ( how much that is believeable is up to how much you trust people I guess) that the cows were treated very well and they were healthy.

Sure you can raise dogs and then kill them and make food out of it. I wouldn't. But atleast I would hope they would be treated all right and killed in a flash without suffering.

As for dogs in general, I have one myself, like it very much. But I still remember how I was afraid of the big dogs after one attacked me in first grade.

I didn't find any source to base myself on, but I don't think that every dog sellers/farmers (or whatever they are called) are treating dogs THAT badly. The few examples shown on those websites are probably the most sickening ones to make us react. I don't think that many people are actually having fun torturing dogs and other animals, if they do, then yeah they should be shot and shat on once burried. The animals who live in difficult conditions are probably owned by people who are really poor and who cannot do otherwise because they don't have the resources nor the money to do so.

On the other hand, what about the people who organize bullfighting in Mexico and who litterally torture them for entertainment? Yeah, that's part of their culture but I still find it fucking stupid.
