Summer Checklist

Let it be known that I am not on summer break yet, but some of you lucky bastards are. I get off late June but since the weather is so darn nice out I am making a checklist. Feel free to make your own.

__ read the da vinci code before i see the movie
X see x 3 and some more movies
__ apply at the new movie theatre
__ suntan the batman logo on your chest
__ suntan numbers and a team name on your back
X make will a mix cd entitled "luke's cd"
__ go to a couple shows
X get the louis logic album
__ get some more records
__ read some more books
__ find a racing helmet for the renault
__ dont get behind for the summer assignment
__ get a fucking reply from hasbro on their piece of shit risk board
__ get out of town

i will probably add on to it n keep it updated throughout the summer months.

i always make a summer list too. last year mine was overly ambitious and inexperienced, and it was not very effective.

this summer i have more generalized goals.
-get in shape
-hang out with people more often
-keep mind active

so far so good. i have been going to tae-do classes monday wednesday friday and biking to work; i have been putting effort into my social life (unlike the past, unfortunately), and it's been great; and i have been doing crossword puzzles daily i am loving this summer so far, and i am really looking forward to what is yet to come.

__ Read the books I was supposed to read for my military history course ("Culture & Carnage" and "Battle: A History of Combat and Culture")

__ Work out, in order to not get a beer gut

__ Attempt to save money that I didn't spend on alcohol

_Find more ways to enjoy my life.
