Yeah I only took the ACT. I got a 28 out of 32.

High school means absolute dick, to those graduating. This is the only time it's going to mean just a little bit. Then that's it. Then you'll realize, once you're OUT of college, that where you went to school ALSO doesn't weigh a whole lot on your ability to obtain certain careers or not. i never took the SAT either...got a 31 on the ACT.

I signed up for the ACT but I never took them.
SATs are more widely accepted by New England schools.

I live in NY, where the ACTs aren't as accepted as the SATs, so that's why I only took the SAT's... I'm glad I'm as old (though still young) as I am.. because of the writing part of the SATs and also (the year after mine), there's three years required math and science (or was it math and language) to get a regents diploma.. Anyways, I hate math and science and spanish, which was my language in HS so I'm happy.

About 10%, which is a higher percentage of the population than the 0% on 2d spaceship games such as this one. Although on the same token with an engineering school a certain percentage of the males aren't a competitive threat in terms of the rest of the chicks chicks in the university. Plus JMU is just down the road which is like 70% female.

I ask this to you, Benno and Zeus (if either of them also catch this)- how does it feel to be out of college? You said the college you went to doesn't weigh a whole lot, but are you going, or about to go through any major location changes? Moving cross country, away from home, or out of state?

I just ask because I should be graduating in December, so I thought I'd get a heads up. Oh one more thing- does collge feel like just as big of a waste as highschool did, or did you actually get more out of college than highschool?

BTW.....nobody here has taken the ACT's??? I am suprised. Much better test and widely accepted in more schools than the SAT. I did much better on my ACT's yrs ago than the SAT's. I just do not understand why a test for college is based solely upon Math and Reading/Grammer can be such an accurate guide, when ACT's cover the same but add in Science & History. SAT's would be great if colleges required you taking only English and Math, but core curriculum classes for almost all 1st and 2nd year students require history and science as well.

I got a 30 on the ACT and that comes out to about 1360 SAT, my actual SAT was 1340. It's comparable.
