I know some might dispute it, but the Xbox s-controller wins second in my book.
And what's the s-controller? The normal XBox controllers are actually pretty comfortable for me. The only ones that suck are the extra large controllers. I can't even play anything with those.-winipcfg

PROTIP: You move slower if you're on analog, it takes time to move the thing to full tilt. With buttons for movement, you're moving max speed 100% of the time you're moving any speed at all, why else do you think people on PC use the keys for movement and don't go looking for some secong mouse or a joystick?Girl if it's alright,

Well I'm saying that the Xbox controller is superior because I play fps on consoles I suppose. If you're going with the all around most comfortable controller you cant say that ps2 is NOT the best. l2/r2 is much easier to use than black/white and gamecube is just plain annoying with that button layout. I mean really, what is the point of the a button being 4 times larger than the b button.
Necro, maybe you havent played halo competitively or for more than just fun. The 1v1 on halo 1 was enough to keep my brother and me occupied for hours on end. Sooo much strategy and so little "boom headshot!", especially playing levels like hang em high and damnation. The second was still a very good game in its own right, but in hindsight I dont think that it ever quite reached the same level in my mind. There was a lot of strategy and such but it was always more about getting a plasma pistol/br and jumping around a corner with it at an opportune moment. I did have some good times though, like MLG DC. Even though ogre 2 ended up talking shit to me and there wasnt much I could do about it in FFA. oh well.I'm just a middle-aged, middle-eastern camel herdin' man

PS2 controller is too clumsy - you think it's the most comfortable because you probably don't own a Gamecube. The four buttons are equi-distance which is ridiculous for any game because you (almost) always use one or two buttons 50-60% of the time. Gamecube offers a central button (the four times bigger one) and three close to it that are easier to get to than the PS2 ones. The R2/L2 is generally useless; in some games it's an advantage but not necessity. Plus Gamecube has the Z button so it's only one button behind (not counting the control pad which is used pretty effectively in most games).
