Anyone else read an article regarding complaints of Ipod's that are starting to break down? They mentioned a 5-6% rate and Apple believes it is due to people mistreating them. It would really suck for people who store 20+ gigs of media on their Ipod without backing it up.

Yeah, there is an actual need. I listen to custom soundtracks for all my games cause I hate most of the in-game music. Instead of burning a bunch of CDs from my iTunes to then rip them on my 360, I can just transfer them all in bulk. Much easier and i don't need to waste all those CD-Rs

I was talking to a friend about this a year ago. I figured either the 360 or PS3 would allow some way to transfer personal MP3's into the soundtracks of most games. It's not necessary if the game doesn't have it's own soundtrack, but for games like Tiger Woods or Burnout, it would be a huge plus.

People are fucking stupid in terms of handling technology. As the undesputed "Mac Kid" at our school, I have to help people with their iPods alot. Alot of times it just is the kid didn't read the fucking manual on how to restore (reformat) an iPod. But there are times when it turns out that the kid dropped it or, in one hilarious case, took it in the pool with him. For some STRANGE reason they act shocked that Apple didn't do anything to warn them that this could prevent their iPod from working.

They are a rip off. 49$ for a lousy piece of crap earbud. You could get some decent Seinheissers for that.

Don't think there are any Sennheiser earbuds that go up to $49. MX400 etc. are all around $10-$15.

Unless you're referring to CX300 which is really not an earbud at all (forgot how much that one cost).

Epi: Karma is the name of Rio's 20GB player. It was supposedly great in many respects but had crap hard drives which failed at apparently a much higher % rate than anyone else's.
